Promoting its members' economic interests is one of the Pharmacists' Association's key tasks. The Association negotiates the agreements concerning its members' salaries and employment terms and also offers assistance in issues related to the interpretation of the agreements. In addition, the Association provides information concerning individual members' employment contracts, collective labor agreements and employment legislation.

Professional influence

The Pharmacists' Association plays a significant role in the development of professions and education in the field of pharmaceutical care. It participates in various development committees and working groups as a member and as an expert. Furthermore, the Association issues statements and makes proposals to authorities. With its guidelines and statements, the Pharmacists' Association aims at developing the field of pharmaceutical care.

The Finnish Pharmacists' Association also conducts professional cooperation with the industry's international organizations.

International operations
